Assignment: Outpatient Provider Auditor/Educator (seasoned)

Specialty:  All specialties; must be able to research and expertly speak to any specialty where no previous experience and provide resources.

Engagement Type (FT/PT):  40 hours per week available during the auditing portion (~11-12 weeks) of the assignment then approximately 20-30 hours per week at the end of the assignment to provide provider education.

·        Will audit cases for DX, CPT, E&M, HCPCS, Modifiers

·        May include some content creation for specialties not previously educated

·        Will be included in education sessions to speak to specific Provider coding/billing education questions

Remote or Travel: Remote

Length of Assignment: 4 – 5 months (auditing and education)

Required Credentials: AAPC or AHIMA

Systems: Epic, Codify seat provided if needed

Additional Details: Must be able to accurately audit all physician specialties. Research and provide resources for specialties not previously worked and answer provider specific questions related to coding and billing during education as support to the primary educator. Must be familiar with MediCal or be able to research and provide education real time based on specialty research.

Excel:   High usage of Excel and must be able to enter data and move within Excel without errors and with minimal guidance.

Productivity: Charts 5/HR

Quality: 95% accuracy
