Assignment: Inpatient Facility Physician Educator (CDI) (seasoned RN)

Specialty:  All IP specialties

Engagement Type (FT/PT): FT preferred;

Remote or Travel: Remote/Travel to client site to educate physicians

Required Credentials: CCDS or CDIP plus RN

Systems: Epic

Additional Details: Must be able to accurately identify physician documentation opportunities, educate physicians on how to improve documentation for appropriate specificity following Norwood’s education requirements. Must be able to create specialty content as needed. Must be able create results presentation Powerpoints following Norwood criteria for client leadership. Must be able to professionally engage with Norwood leadership and client leadership.

Excel:   High usage of Excel and must be able to enter data and move within Excel without errors and with minimal guidance.

Powerpoint: Must be able to create education content as needed following Norwood criteria using Norwood Master deck.

Productivity: Must be able to  review Inpatient cases as needed at 1.25 per hour.

Quality: 95% accuracy

Training: Will onboard with Norwood Inpatient CDI Subject Matter Expert and Norwood VP of Operations. Must adapt and adhere to Norwood standards and expectations to meet Norwood’s client expectations.

Facility type: Acute Care Hospital (3 facilities)

Flexibility of schedule? Must work on Pacific Time when onsite with client with education times between 7am and 5pm (not to exceed 8 hours daily). Flexibility when remote but must provide requested schedule, must attend all scheduled meetings and must be able to adjust schedule with notice if needed.
