The most rewarding part about my role of Branding Director is I get to educate, foster, and develop mid-revenue cycle professionals, all while telling our unique company story. I do this by hosting the Off the Record podcast, writing and publishing, creating newsletters, videos, visual collateral, and public speaking, and supporting my colleagues in their endeavors. Norwood is a company that values autonomy, integrity, team unity, and creativity, and I lean into all of these in my work.
Prior to joining Norwood I was the founder and former director of the Association of Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialists (ACDIS). I helped grow ACDIS from zero members at launch to nearly 7,000, and developed its CCDS certification and national conference. I was a former medical coding newsletter editor. I’m also a proud father of two daughters, a published author of non-fiction, and a heavy metal fan.
