Outpatient CDI Specialist – Pre Visit
Norwood is seeking a full-time, remote Outpatient CDI Specialist to support comprehensive pre-visit prospective reviews of ambulatory medical records.
The specialist will identify and capture documented and potential Hierarchical Condition Category diagnoses and autosuggested conditions affecting HCC coding and Risk Adjustment Factor scores. The specialist will query providers to promote accurate, complete documentation and may support other work related to HCC accuracy and risk mitigation.
Requirements:
- Outpatient CDI or risk-adjustment experience
- RN strongly preferred
- CRC preferred; CPC or CCS considered
- CCDS-O or CDEO a plus
- Experience with Epic and risk-adjustment workflows
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to meet a target of 2.5 reviews per hour
- Ability to maintain at least 95% quality
This is a full-time, remote assignment currently targeted to begin November 16, 2026. Some weekday business-hour availability is required during onboarding and training.
