Norwood takes a retreat—watch the highlights from Camp Norwood III

As a wise man once said, all work and no play make Jack a dull boy.

We feel that here at Norwood too. Sometimes we all need a little retreat.

The entire team at Norwood took a few days off to head to the Lucky Arrow resort in Dripping Springs, TX, Nov. 1-3. A few days of relaxing “glamping” in cabins and yurts, with organized team activities including the Norwood Olympics, a scavenger hunt, and an intense game of assassin. Food, cheer, and friendship.

It was a rare and wonderful chance to step away from computer screens, meet face-to-face with colleagues from around the country we usually see on Zoom, and recharge our batteries.

At camp we lived out our core values. As you can see from the photos, we are Unique Trees, One Forest, a diverse group all pulling in the same direction. Our intense games of can jam, rock-paper-scissors, cornhole, and human foosball demonstrate that the Obstacle is the Way. And we added a little bit of water and nutrients to feed our Deep Roots, Strong Connections.

Camp is over and we’re all back home again, a little bit sore and tired perhaps, but also recharged for what’s to come.

We’re looking forward to a strong finish to 2023 and serving you and growing your career in 2024 and beyond.
