CDI Second Level Reviewer (SLR) (3-5)
Job is 100% remote
- Knowledgeable and experienced second-level clinical reviewers:
- Clinical background (RN, FMG preferred).
- Coding experience (certification not required but preferred).
- 5 years of CDI experience
- CCDS or CDIP
- 1 year of second-level review experience
June 2 is anticipated start date
We anticipate 1-3 weeks of training depending on level of Iodine system knowledge
SOW is a review of prioritized retrospective records to identify post discharge documentation queries and coder collaboration opportunities for accurate clinical picture of the patient in the final codes.
Client will supply laptop, workflow and training
Job Details
- Senior Level CDI not front line
- Credentials- must CCDS and must have an RN or FMD with a CCDS, or a Nurse practitioner, or a PA
- They use Iodine
- This project is 99% retrospect
- Production- 300 a month
- They do have someone on the team do quality review checks on the 2nd level reviewers
