Inpatient Coders 

Temp to perm opportunity

For consideration to be hired on as permanent staff, need to live in one of the following states: AL, FL, GA, IN, NC, OH, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI

We have a graduated 90 days for Onboarding.  By the end of the 90 days we want the Coders to be coding 31-34 minutes on average per chart.   We also assign the work out for certain work types to allow for Productivity gains.
 

 
3M 360 (Encoder/CAC) and EPIC
 
We prefer experience; however we will onboard and train all Inpatient Coders on our processes and EPIC.
 

We expect our coders to know how to code Level 1 Trauma which involves Cardiac, Neuro, Transplant and Burns, etc.   Newborns, NICU
 
 
Work Schedules:
 
During their training we would like daytime hours Monday-Friday.  Once we get the training completed, we can discuss flexibility in their work schedules.   We offer flexibility.
