Job Description:
Ever wanted to help build the organization you always wanted to be a part of? At Norwood we’re forging our own path. We’re a remote-first staffing and consulting company specializing in mid-Revenue Cycle management within the healthcare industry.  Our team of experts have placed thousands of professionals that support organizations ranging from small, community-based hospitals to the largest healthcare systems in the nation. Our mission? Bringing health to hospitals’ bottom lines.
We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Recruiter to join our team. Building strong, trust-based relationships with candidates throughout their experience with Norwood is at the heart of this role. You will play a critical part in finding the win-in – so our clients receive the high-caliber professionals to help meet their revenue cycle needs, and also supporting career growth and opportunities for Norwood’s consultants.
The ideal individual possesses a high sense of urgency, a passion for continuous learning, and puts relationships, integrity, and authenticity front and center to make their 90,000 hours matter for something beyond punching a clock.

  • Assess candidates qualification for opportunities through interviews, assessments and skill + experience evaluation
  • Cultivate meaningful connections with candidates to understand their career aspirations and ensure a positive recruitment experience
  • Build strong relationships with candidates to understand their career goals and match them with appropriate opportunities
  • Achieve or exceed established metrics for calls, prescreens, and placements
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with placed consultants and serve as a trusted point person for job satisfaction, issues and questions
  • Partner with account managers and clients to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates through proactive sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events
  • Ensure all candidates meet credentialing and experience requirements, including certifications (e.g., CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RN for CDI roles) and any client-specific criteria
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to document candidate interactions and ensure an organized workflow
  • Stay informed about industry trends, certification updates, and talent market shifts within the medical coding and CDI fields

We’re excited about you because you:

  • Have at least two years of professional experience focused on customer service, sourcing, call and text outreach, or related activities
  • Excel at managing multiple competing priorities
  • Love talking to people and building strong relationships
  • Have demonstrated strong negotiation and closing skills
