We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team. The BDR will be responsible for identifying and developing new business relationships with healthcare organizations, specifically focusing on optimizing mid-revenue cycle programs.  You will take the lead in the development of new business opportunities that support Norwood’s overall growth strategy.
The ideal individual possesses a high sense of urgency, a passion for continuous learning, and puts relationships, integrity, and authenticity front and center to make their 90,000 hours matter for something beyond punching a clock.
This role is a full-time remote position reporting to the Vice President of Sales Operations

You’re excited about this role because you’ll get to:

  • Develop new business opportunities with healthcare organizations through all stages of the sales cycle including targeting, prospecting, and presenting compelling business propositions
  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, email campaigns and networking
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and execute targeted sales plans
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed established personal and team metrics
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Gain a deep understanding of Norwood’s solutions and present tailored solutions to meet client needs
  • Deliver quality and compelling presentations showcasing Norwood solutions and solving client issues
  • Keep accurate and consistent records of sales activity and customer interactions using the CRM
  • Prepare regular pipeline and other reports for management
  • Analyze trends in sales data to identify areas for improvement
  • Effectively manage contract negotiations and close business deals with new clients
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment team and other support teams to ensure successful delivery of talent on open roles
  • Representing Norwood at industry conferences and events

We’re excited about you because you:

  • Have 2-3 years of professional job experience (previous customer-facing experience is a plus!)
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Successfully worked in a remote environment
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Bring strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
  • Possess a strong desire to learn and grow new skills
  • Leverage your top-notch interpersonal skills to be an effective communicator
  • Exhibit strong analytical, negotiating, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrate a high sense of urgency, “one team” mindset, and positive attitude
  • Are willing to travel up to 20%
