We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. The Account Executive will be pivotal in expanding Norwood’s client base and driving revenue growth within the staffing division. The key focus of this role is identifying and developing new business relationships with healthcare organizations, specifically focusing on optimizing mid-revenue cycle programs.  The Account Executive will spearhead development of new business opportunities that support Norwood’s overall growth strategy, while partnering with our leadership and recruitment teams. The ideal individual will have a high sense of urgency, action oriented, “one team” mentality, and the ability to develop deep, authentic relationships.

This is a full-time remote position reporting to the SVP, Sales & Strategic Partnerships

You’re excited about this role because you’ll get to:
 

  • Develop new business opportunities with healthcare organizations through all stages of the sales cycle including targeting, prospecting, and presenting compelling business proposals
  • Develop and maintain a robust deal pipeline toward target list
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment team and other support teams to ensure successful delivery of talent while maintaining a positive candidate and client experience
  • Serve as main point of contact and trusted partner to clients
  • Understand and keep up to date with industry and market trends
  • Meet regularly with clients to ensure project success and overall satisfaction
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with an emphasis on developing long-term client partnerships
  • Achieve sales targets and established key metrics
  • Prospect new accounts and opportunities to grow Norwood’s brand and services
  • Develop deep understanding of Norwood’s capabilities and solutions to match with client’s needs 
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan that meets or exceeds established sales goals and supports Norwood revenue and profitability targets
  • Representing Norwood at industry conferences and events

We’re excited about you because you:

  • Have at least 5-7 years of sales experience with progressive responsibility over time
  • Worked in the healthcare industry (Inpatient+Outpatient Coding and CDI experience strongly preferred)
  • Have built, developed, and maintained client relationships at all levels of a healthcare organization 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding target metrics
  • Drive negotiations and tackle difficult discussions head on in a collaborative and respectful manner
  • Possess excellent organization and prioritization skills 
  • Can travel about 10% of the time, occasionally more frequently to attend conferences, as needed
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Have exceptional communication both within Norwood teams and with clients
  • High sense of urgency, “one team” mindset, positive attitude
